The head of the company noted that following the results of the last quarter BlackBerry sold 1,6 million smartphones that is more than 1,3 million sold in previous year, but it is much less than indicators of 2012 – then the figure reached to 6,8 million smartphones. For comparison: in the first quarter 2014 of Apple sold 43,7 million iPhone, and Samsung so in general put on the market of 85 million smartphones.
