After numerous leaks which revealed many details about Nokia X, the Finnish company at last presented the first smartphones on the basis of Android. On Monday during the MWC-2014 Nokia exhibition officially announced the Nokia X smartphone and its two colleagues of Nokia X + and Nokia XL. All three work under control of the modified Android operating system which has strong external likeness to Windows Phone.
Nokia X, X + and XL
Android-smartphones Nokia will not surprise those who waited from them for flagman characteristics. Nokia X has the 4-inch IPS display with WVGA permission (800 x 480 pixels), a dual-core processor of Qualcomm Snapdragon with frequency of 1 GHz, 512 Mb of random access memory, 4 Gbytes of internal memory, the 3-megapixel chamber, the demountable battery in capacity 1500 мАч and the Android operating system with the user interface as Metro. Also support of two SIM-cards, the MicroSD socket (to 32 Gbytes), Wi-fi and GPS modules is noted. At the sizes 115,5 x 63 x 10,4 of millimeter the smartphone weighs 128,66 grams.
Nokia X + differs additional memory and in store volume. The Nokia XL model is in turn equipped with the 5-inch WVGA display, the 5-megapixel back chamber and the 2-megapixel face-to-face chamber.
Smartphones are accompanied by the Nokia and Microsoft appendices instead of Google applications with which Android-devices are completed by default. To users access to own shop Android-applications Nokia, and also to services of the foreign companies developers, including "Yandex" will open. Microsoft in turn will award buyers bonuses, including a month of free calls to Skype and 1 Gbyte of a place on a cloudy hosting of OneDrive.
Nokia X, + and Nokia XL debut Nokia X in several color options in different emerging markets, including in Russia. Price level following: 89, 99 and 109 euros for Nokia X, X + and XL, respectively. The Nokia X model already went on sale, the others are expected later.
Asha 230 and Nokia 220
Besides Android-smartphones Nokia presented Asha 230 and Nokia 220 phones.
Nokia Asha 230 is calculated on those who wants to receive a little more than the cell phone. Four-band GSM phone has the preset Nokia Xpress web browser and is available in versions with one or two SIM-cards. From a technical aspect the device offers the 2,8-inch QVGA display and support of memory cards of MicroSD in volume to 32 Gbytes. And there is it only 45 euros.
2,4-inch Nokia 220 in turn supports 2G-connection, work with one or two SIM-cards, has the preset appendices Twitter, Facebook and the aforementioned browser. The device is available in India, Africa, Latin America, the countries of the Asian and Pacific region, Europe and in the Middle East at the price of 29 euros.
Earlier the Chinese company Huawei showed the novelties of MWC-2014.
